All, UTG is barrin, and i'm button.

History is that i'm generally a gigantic spewtard.

My reads are that his hand is generally face up as a Q/x'ish type hand; however, generally would feel he would double barrel spades or diamonds.

Also, given my knowledge of his hand I hardly ever would call with worse but would shove QJ+, and also turn hands into bluffs.

Essentially I never have a monster though, yeah?

edit i am also aware it's higher unlikely for either of us to show up with a monster

Thoughts on check calling river to induce the spewtard into a bluff with his busted draw/overcards? I hate making value bets after a turn check on a draw heavy board. It makes you bluffable when the river appears to blank. I think a spewtard will bluff with a wider range if you check the river.

More likely to be bluffing than normal, maybe, but I still like to vbet here. Lots of spewtards are jacking the flop with overs+FD, or betting the turn with just overcards, and it's really rare that we're beat here.

I don't disagree.

This is the type of situation where pokey used to chime in with some math and a comment like "He has to bluffing at least xx% more often to make a check/call more profitable than a value bet."

Don't think so as long as he occasionally folds QJ, KQ, and spite calls with 77-JJ.

quite unlikely he has 88-JJ given action, but dynamics could change that i guess.
