100NL- QQ vs L/R

Ok, so I said that since reading PNL I hadn't been lost in a hand. Well I was completely lost in this one. Villain is 40/17 and I've been re-raising with garbage over limpers quite a bit and running at 30/15 (so it's reasonable for him not to give me credit for a hand here).

so . . . . what's the plan?

If he thinks you may not have a quality hand then I feel you do well against his range. Since he is probably pretty aggro it is safe to assume that you could commit on any flop without an A or K but I would plan on letting him do the betting since he probably will go AI with more hands that way. So my plan would be to call the raise and call a flop bet that doesn't include an A or K and to push over his turn bet assuming the turn is blank.

You're certainly not going to fold. You've been pretty aggro and someone is probably standing up to you. This is a bad thing when you have a hand?

As threads13 said, call the reraise, call his flop bet, shove river - presuming no A or K comes

I would need a read that villain can LRR with less than AA, KK to continue here.

Seriously, over about 120k hands at 100nl i have never seen a 100bb stack LRR without AA or KK.

Your recent play may have encouraged him to play a marginal hand this way, but until I've seen him do this (l/r) more than once I'm giving him credit for the goods.

He's 40/17...it's not like its going to be difficult to get his money. I think you can find a better spot than this to do it. Sucks to lay QQ down, but I'd probably do it.

If you do continue with the hand then I'd take the line suggested by others...call on the flop if its A/K free and get it all in on any blank turn.

For some reason, every time i LRR, i have 44. Weird. That anomaly aside, i agree with crunny.

Villain is a 40/17 monkey and what would a monkey do with AA or KK? Probably LRR.

Stacking off on a safe board isn't terrible. But i think we are in big trouble here.

That smells so much like AA to me. From my limited experience, you re runnig more often into AA or KK here, than your Qs are good PF...

I honestly think lrr is KK or AA more from regs than donks. Donks show up with all kinds of [censored] here. You'll see things from J3s to AA. I like calling and shoving safe flops if he makes a decent cbet.

OK, so I think the flop is a real easy check behind. I felt at the time that the ace flopping made AA a lot more unlikely and that if he WAS l/r with KK then perhaps I might be able to take the pot away. I still thought rags were part of his range and I might have the best hand; however, I did not want to get c/r on the flop, so I checked behind. My plan on the turn was to raise if he bet (figuring to fold out KK or a bluff), and bet if checked to. Too FPS?

At any rate, with the turn card I am open ended and every big pair TT+ beats me. Take the free card, or try to take it down in the face of his weakness?
