Default Pitcher in Japan suspended for male-pattern baldness

An American playing baseball in Japan has been suspended for 20 games for testing positive for a banned substance. The substance was a hair-growth drug which can be used as a masking agent for other drugs.

Come on, he's got to feel bad enough about losing his hair. Don't take the ball out of his hands!

This happened in the Olympics, too. I hear Propecia works really well as a masking agent.

Me, too. If you rub it all over your face, it will cover your face in hair, making for a great disguise.

kyleb,

There was a guy that was a gold medal contender in the Skeleton in the Olympics (I know I know who cares about the Skeleton) that worked out at the same gym as myself that got the boot from the last winter Olympics b/c of Propecia. I felt bad for him, he busted his ass for 4 years for one solitary event and then it turns out he is broke...I still made fun of him when he got back to the states though.

NHL goalie Jose Theodore had the same problem a couple years back, here's a pic of the guy, you think he needs hair growth crap?

Propecia is for preventing hair loss - obv. it has worked for him.

So he was suspended for a drug, not for having male-pattern baldness. Misleading thread.
