Sklansky/Brandi stuff . . . Am I just an old fuddy-duddy?
I realize that I haven't been playing/posting much as of recently, but I have to say that all this Brandi/Sklansky drame has gotten a bit out of hand.
There is no question that this site over the years has gone from focusing primarily on educating poker players to more of a gossip forum which is now bordering on very questionable regarding good taste and morality. I used to have the utmost respect for DS, and I do owe much of the success I enjoyed playing poker over the last ten years to him. I have to admit that I am a little troubled by his recent behaivor. I used to engage in bickering/insulting/bs-ing with Angelo, El D, etc., but we could all stick up for ourselves and it was intended to be good-natured. I don't think that all this Brandi stuff is healthy or in good taste, and it should not be promoted by the co-founder of this once-fine site. TSP

it creates traffic and money. plus it creates a public service. people like brandi will think twice about stealing $70,000 or however much it was from people's online accounts
....and then go online and slander the person she stole from

[/ QUOTE ] The site in general is still by far mostly poker strategy... you're complaining about poker gossip being posted in the GOSSIP forum? edit: maybe you're just complaining about the godfather himself getting involved in this gossip... but i dont see why that matters either.

tsp, youre proly right but its still fun to watch. i think its awesome that the popularity of poker has exposed all these low life, degenerate, social morons. im def going to the wsop next year to witness the idiocy first hand.
