Default Picking a Nit about Sabermetrics

I dislike when the word sabermetrics is used to talk about football or basketball statistics because as many of you probably know sabermetrics comes from the acronym SABR for Society for American Baseball Research.

So what is a cool new word we could use for statistically based objective measures of a player's contributions in football and basketball?

the APBR is the basketball analog to SABR. But sabermetrics is fine.
