Yes call, since the dead money in the pot makes up for the ~7% he's ahead of hero.

Villains play was perfect (except the pf-call).

It doesn't really matter that you're "ahead" but rather than you're getting 3 to 1 and you have better than 25% equity against the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. He has sixteen outs twice (you counted the 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] twice), but you have redraws for at least half the pot against everything but a club.

If you actually knew his cards going into the flop, a better play would be to check/call, then shove a turn where you were still ahead.

On the other hand, he played his hand perfectly fine, as he's somewhat of a favorite over KK in this spot, so he's getting his money in with the best of it.

How's A2c a favorite over KK on this flop? Didn't he need to catch one of his 16 outs to win the hand? And 16 out of 47 cards is less than 50% right?

Sorry if this is a dumb/noob question...

He has 16 outs twice. Any more than 14 outs on the flop and you have >50% chance of winning.

Thanks, everyone. Seems as if, except for villain's questionable call pf, both players played well.

BTW, the Ks held up.

Unfortunately, I was villain

calling the RR preflop 80bbs deep sucks balls, you are burning money

folding KK likewise really sucks

I normally would not have made that call. I'm usually uber tight. However, the way the table was playing, it didn't seem like a bad idea at the time.
