Default Is blind stealing profitable?

I play 25 NL, and my attempt to steal blinds is running ~30%. Assuming you employ the strategy judiciously with help from PAHUD / reads (i.e. don't try to steal the blinds of calling stations), is this actually profitable? How substantial a profit with, say, a 30K / month sample size? My friend is a multi tabling TAG regular at 25 NL on FT, but doesn't steal blinds. How much money is he leaving on the table?
