Whitfield looks so ineffective against every DE he goes up against.

What was that Eli? That was horrendous.

It's time for Manning to drive down the field here. 97 yard drive, I'm feeling it.

is it just me, or have teams started to pass on 1st, run on 2nd, and leave themselves 3rd and 6 much more often than in years past

Well if you pass on first down and it's incomplete you almost have to run it on 2nd.

On that 2nd down play it was pass interference without question. Is that Bill Lovett back there officiating? If he is he should never be allowed to do another Giants game.

No, Madden has been saying that for years.
Incomplete pass on 1st down = 2nd down run
Run for 0 yards on 1st down = 2nd down pass

Bill Lovett is the Field Judge in this game, the Back Judge is Billy Smith and he is the one that missed that interference call.

Lovett holds the record for most offensive pass interference flags in the superbowl, it was 3 and he threw all three on the Giants in the 2000 superbowl. He lives down the street from me and whenever I see him in a Giant game he will make at least 1 bad call a game. He is #98.
