Default Year round Mix Games in Vegas/ L.A.

Im considering a move to Vegas when i finish college this year. I was wondering if there are any other regular mixes that go on besides the Bellagio 40-80? Is there a regular mix between that and some of the huge 1k-2k + games? Obviosuly im speaking the times between big tournys. What about in L.A? Ive heard about 100-200 and 150-300 mixes but wasnt sure. Thanks!

There are definitely no regular mix games in Vegas between 40/80 and 1k/2k. At Commerce it all depends on who is there and how sick of holdem they are, but I would say your chance of walking in on any given night and getting a 100/200 - 300/600 mix going are around 25%, and closer to 75% on the weekend. Maybe you should just get better at holdem

Probably. My advice is if you are able to beat mix games up to 100/200 or so, why not work on getting better at a couple games and playing in the high limit stud, omaha, triple draw games that go online every day. That would be my goal were I a good other games player.

I believe that there is a 75-150 mix in Phoenix. Either Casino AZ or Fort McDowell. Maybe someone can say which and/or confirm. Of course, they're both just a phone call away.

Its Casino AZ. I asked a dealer if they ever played 2-7 in the mix and she informed me that they had before, but that they don't anymore because draw is illegal in Arizona.

Edited to add that I think smaller mix games (30, 40, 60) go too there

I haven't played Casino AZ in about 7 months so I could be wrong, but I recall being told that there was a rotation that included TD A-5 at one of the other rooms in town.

It certainly wasn't the Gila River, and I'm hard pressed to believe it was Fort McDowell either- but I've only been there a few times so maybe- so if anyone else has any knowledge of this I would love to know. I think I would be willing to play A5 live if the stakes were right. Anyone know anything about Harrahs? Too far away for me.

And about draw being illegal in Arizona- thats just what I was told after talking to one dealer about it, so I could be wrong.

It was The Fort if I remember correctly.
