($27) KQ flops top two in SB, how is this line?
UTG/CO's had been aggressive (28/16/3.0), Button's stats were 20/8/1.0 and BB's stats 22/17/4.0. How is this line? Obv I was going for a C-R on the flop and with two players with aggressive postflop stats I thought that one of them would bet, but is this flop too dangerous to do so?
On the turn, I have to go broke, right? Turn lead was a misclick, meant to bet 600. Re: ($27) KQ flops top two in SB, how is this line?
I would probably lead the flop.
Just because I have two of the three cards on the flop which reduces the change they have one and will bet. Also if they have a T they might not bet. Also they are not super lagg. This might be a bit 'result orientated'. I would bet 700-800 on the flop, just because of the two draws and 3 opponents. As played: on the turn I probably get it in as well, although I am not too excited about it. He could also have a random Q or K or draw. Edit: Oh, and I lead the flop because of the draw. |

Re: ($27) KQ flops top two in SB, how is this line?
Yes, I definitely bet the flop - it's very drawy. I'm not keen on trying to check-raise because the board is so scary that people are less likely to bluff.
Turn is tough; I agree with betting out. After the min-raise I don't like shoving. I can't think of any worse hand that will call; so I prefer calling the min-riase to shoving. So I probably just call the raise and, assuming the river doesn't help my hand, fold to a big bet on the river, calling any small ones. But it's a tough one. |

I would bet full pot on the flop, maybe even 1000, and get it in on the flop/shove a safe turn card if called (not an ace or nine but would shove J vs one player).
As played you are probably beat but I think you are getting the odds to either spike or get a free sd sometimes when he doesn't have it to call his raise and fold to most river bets. If he had minraised a real bet I would fold, they almost always have it. Shove is basically lighting two buyins on fire. |

i agree this is not good. you probably should bet on the flop and if you didnt lead bigger on the turn. as played call his bet and fold to a decent river bet unimproved.

Definitely lead the flop. Any 9, J, A, or T really sucks if they hit on the turn. Prolly lead 600ish and then push safe turns.
