Did sylar lose his memory as well? I would have liked to see a back story on what happened with sylar.

Maybe i don't pay attention to the show enough. But this was the sylar story i was under the impression happened:

Sylar gets stabbed, goes in sewer or something and then wakes up in central america with eden.

It seems like after he woke up and killed the girl(maybe a defensive use of his power, similiar to how peter shocked the guys int he crate when they found him but he didn't know how he did it)

Sylar seems to have some memory loss and does not have all of his powers.

Example, he killed the guy who was driving him and the wonder twins by hitting him with a brick in the bathroom instead of using a fancy power.

I was under the impression that he went through something similiar to peter and doesn't quite remember what happens or all of his powers.

Although it seems that he remembers his powers but maybe for some reason he can't use them, example, he explains to alejandro how he will kill his sister and steal her powers as if he wasn't quite able to do it yet? is he resting or some [censored]?
I also imagine with all of his powers he would have a way better way of getting back to NY.

Also, in regards to the discussion of why hiro didn't stop time and then kill sylar while sylar could do nothing. I'm not 100% sure that Hiro could do this. If i remember correctly i can remember at least 1 time where hiro stopped time and sylar unfroze it, i believe this was the very first encounter between the 2. It seemed like sylar either unfroze time or was able to move around in with Hiro while everyone else was frozen.

I don't think so. Maybe Hiro was bad at freezing time while he learned to use his powers, but the only person able to break into Hiro's freeze is Peter.
