I always figured Soah would be best NL Cash player in POG since he plays 3-6..

What does Tokyo play?

[/ QUOTE ]

don't wanna be a nit, and I think soah is probably pretty good, but 3/6 live isn't all that balla, relatively speaking. I can play 2/5 easily and I'm on the very low end of the balla scale.

If we're judging by proven results, then it's pretty clear that tokyo/xorbie are at the top with a whole host of others nearby (gt1t, OH, etc etc etc). That's excluding AJ obviously

Well obviously comparing 3-6 live to 3-6 online is sort of a joke..

3-6 live is 10 handed, one tabling, @ like 20-30 hands/hr

3-6 online is 6 handed, 4-8 tabling, @ like 60 hands/hr

If we're talking about long term results OH was grinding for a living a long ass time. He's probably made more money from poker than all of us. And yes obv we all lose if we count AJ and worthless. I have no idea how long x0rb's been playing.

proven results have to factor in playing time, so bb/100, roi, or some such modifier is needed. Problem is, sample size needed for any real confidence is just huge. (less for limit than nl, for tournies, ummm, doubt anyone is there for tournies, maybe 25k stt's at a level). It is utterly pointless to try to wave an epeen on poker skill based on results. OTOH it is perfectly fine to wave a results epeen based on results.

I'm just a part time player with a full time job and family, but I think I passed 6 figures on line lifetime this year. (Actually, I know I passed it at least twice, once going up, once going down, but I think I have passed it going up again, but I haven't moved all my records from paper to the spreadsheet yet).

Also, I am geering up for my anual fall/winter heater, so watch out!

GT, you whiny bitch. I clearly stated you would wipe the floor with me (despite the fact I owned you in our only two sessions together).

Don't make me start a flamewar with you, too.
