ITunes not playing correctly

I cannot for the life of me figure this out

My Itunes plays songs faster than normal. it almost seems like it's playing them at 2x or 3x normal...

I dont know how to fix this or change a setting or what...


any ideas ??

I'm now found a couple places online that say it's a compatibility problem between Itunes and Dell sound cards...

well I dont even have a dell sound card... hmmm
