Default Dead Icon?

I have been playing on Absolute poker for 200,000 hands roughly with the same computer. Tonight I try to open up and log on, I click the icon, hour glass comes up for 2 seconds and nothing. I try from the start menu and the same thing. I can log on to any other site with no problems, and internet explorer works fine. I can log on to absolute for my laptop but not interested in playing with that. I have reinstalled but get the same result. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Dave

Default Re: Dead Icon?

Have it fixed, did this:

1. Re-Start your computer. When it comes back on, do not open up Absolute Poker.
2. Click on the "Start" button.
3. Choose "Control Panel".
4. Select "Add / Remove Programs".
5. Select Absolute Poker and remove the program.
6. Open the "My Computer" icon located on your desktop or in the Start Menu.
7. Open C:\Program Files and delete any Absolute Poker folders that you can find in Program Files.
8. After Absolute Poker has been uninstalled, open the Internet Explorer Browser.
9. Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Internet Options".
10. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click on "Delete Files", this may take a while, after that click on "Delete Cookies".
11. Go to www.AbsolutePoker.com and click on the "Play Now" button. Click "Run" and wait for the download to complete. Click "Run" again and then at the purple screen, click "Start Install".
