If I was UTG raised and was re-raised I MIGHT THINK about making this play, but probably not. On the button w/ only 2200 in the pot makes this a bad move. I would raise in the vacinity of 2-2.5k, or smooth call (which people will flame over) and dump it if I miss terribly (or try to take it post flop if weakness is shown). Basically this is a move for people who don't like to play poker, but instead like to play 'All-in'.

I think this is the perfect chance to reraise to 3.5-4k. Then, if initial raiser reraises, you can fold. Also, it puts smaller stack to a decision for all his chips.

Also, I think calling is okay as well.

reraise > call > push > fold.

I think this would be a bad play. We'd be committing almost 1/3 of our stack on a reraise and then folding to a push from MP? I think MPs range is a little wider than what would be needed for us to lay the hand down.

With that said, reraise it to 2475 and play post flop poker

Totally, we want a reraise, at worst I think we are in a coinflip situation here, more than likely you are dominating.

If you reraise and the initial raiser puts in a third raise, you are unlikely to be ahead. You may have to put the money in anyway though.

If you make it 3500 to go and he pushes you'll getting a little less than 2 to 1 with AK, making it a very easy call if you put him on a range of JJ+ and AK.
