Re: shortstacking PLO
You'll generally have a higher win rate shortstacking PLO than NLHE (still going to be much lower than a good player playing full obv.)... Slotbloom's book is basically all about shortstacking PLO, read that if you're interested. Also a good way to learn some Omaha basics, handreading etc. if you're coming from a HE background.

Re: shortstacking PLO
Most of the posters in this forum will strongly advise you against it for a variety of reasons. The biggest advantage someone gets from shortstacking is the ability to get all-in pre-flop against the large range of hands that many deep stacks will raise with. The downside to shortstack PLO is it takes away post flop play. If you want to be able to attempt bluffs in raised pots, both you and your opponent have to have a reasonable stack size.

Re: shortstacking PLO
people who shortstack are those who dont have the skill to play at the max buyin. Thats why you see a ton of people buy in for 8,000 at the 200/400 tables on FT. They cant handle a deep stack facing benyamine, ziigmund, ivey, ect. Shortstackers try to eliminate as many decisions as possible and try to get it all in as soon as they can.
