Default 16$ - lost here, bubblecall/fold?

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t600 with t50 antes (4 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

CO (t3650)
Button (t4480)
SB (t1740)
Hero (t3630)

Preflop: Hero is in BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="red">CO raises to t3600 (All-in)</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, <font color="gray">SB folds</font>, <font color="gray">Hero folds</font>

Villain hasnt been too aggressive and seems to be decent.

I guess its a fold but it felt wrong after i folded, so yeah tell me whats wrong/right and why.

If you keep playing that tight for third, you're going to have a hard time making money in SNGs.

Barry.
PS: I call with 88 and 77 here too. I may consider folding 66, but probably not. ATo is my threshold for non pairs.

Guthrie, this is precisely why you struggled at breakeven at the 6.50's for as long as you did. Calling here is definitely a loser play.

Nothing personal, but you've complained about not knowing what you're doing wrong in the past. Here's a great example.

I have the breakeven at CO pushing 31%. No one at the $16's is pushing that wide.

i never call here. for various reasons...
1) its -Ev for his possible range.
2)You find many juicy +Ev spots from pushing at this stage.
3)Shorty will bust before you in most cases

Okay, I thought you guys were completely nuts, so I loaded the hand into SNGPT and confirmed that you were nuts, and only then did I realize I misread the stacks. I thought Hero was the short stack, which made it an easy call. After running twice, then reading the thread, I realized my error. I'm definitely not calling here with 99.
