ya, been happening to me for a week now and over 300 sng's. I think just reviewing your play and reading here will get you through it. Nothing you can do when you get all in with AA vs 22 and they flop a set. Just drop some tables if you need to and make sure you're playing your own game and not timid due to your recent cold decking.

This is good advice. I think Stars has flipped on their doom switch for a while so that the fish win a little and don't leave. Lately the only hands I am winning are the hands I am behind...

They'll turn it off soon... I hope

Come on man, just because JSH06 is an established player doesn't mean his post wasn't worthless. No reason to pile on the OP.

LOL

& yes Noodleman, obv my post was worthless and 100% sarcastic. In all seriousness, downswings happen. It's 100% true when they tell you that you will eventually run worse than you ever thought. It happens to everyone. Don't let it get your confidence down. There was a recent post by MikeMcQ1 that turned into a downswing discussion. If I remember correctly it was titled "Tiltless is worried." Try using the search function and look over the replies in that post and the links posted in it.

I had 15% roi over 1700 hands at the $16`s, but now after 2,2k hands I have 4%..sigh

result after this downswing: -$800
I`m not losing right now but here is a hand I played on the bubble a few hours ago:

PokerStars Game #xxxxxx: Tournament #xxxxxx, $15+$1 Hold'em No Limit - Level VIII (200/400) - 2007/05/22 - 12:12:56 (ET)
Table 'xxxxxx 1' 9-max Seat #1 is the button
Seat 1: player 2 (2965 in chips)
Seat 5: hero (5553 in chips)
Seat 6: donk (2655 in chips)
Seat 8: player 1 (2327 in chips)
player 2: posts the ante 25
hero: posts the ante 25
donk: posts the ante 25

hero: posts small blind 200
donk: posts big blind 400

player2: folds
hero: raises 5128 to 5528 and is all-in

donk collected 5360 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 5360 | Rake 0
Board [5c Qh Kh Ac Th]
Seat 1: player 2 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: hero (small blind) showed [3c 6h] and lost with high card Ace
Seat 6: donk (big blind) showed [Kc 4h] and won (5360) with a pair of Kings
Seat 8: player 1 folded before Flop (didn't bet)

I had him on a tight range, so the push was profitable..
the conversation after this hand:

donk: I read u
hero: bad call
donk: good call
hero: no, not profitable
donk: I won
hero: omg

A few hands, I had AQ and 3,1k in the SB..

hero: u call now?
donk: i have read u (folds)
hero: donkey
donk: I`m pro
hero: sure

in the next hands he folded when the shorty pushed 1k on the BTN..blinds 200/400..LOL got 4th as normal

I'm runnning bad as well. If it doesn't bother you, review your play and make sure you're not playing bad. If you're not playing bad, don't change a thing and keep playing. If it is bothering you, take some time off or move down. The worst thing that can happen is you become more timid and start playing bad.

I decided to take 1-2 weeks off.

Heres my last 2 weeks in a nutshell:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($35.85)
UTG ($22.20)
MP ($27.05)
CO ($39.55)
Button ($27.40)
Hero ($41.40)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, Button raises to $2.25, Hero raises to $41.4, 1 fold, Button calls $25.15 (All-In).

Flop: ($69.05) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: ($69.05) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($69.05) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $69.05

Results in white below:
Hero has As Ac (one pair, aces).
Button has Jc Kc (two pair, kings and jacks).
Outcome: Button wins $55.05. Hero wins $14.
