Yikes, this game is getting out of hand pretty quickly. This UW QB can really move, it should be interesting to see how he develops over the next couple of years.

watching Rankin's speed over the Cuse, how are they going to come close to slowing down White & Slaton, Urritia & Douglas, Rice & Underwood

Better question: how are they going to have any healthy quarterbacks come the end of the season? Their line was just terrible, and it's not like Washington is a top team.

Fwiw...UW has an underrated defense. Not worldbeaters, but underrated. That D helped keep us close in tough games (USC/CAL) while our offense sucked.

Great game. Jake looked good. A little too fired up early on, but settled in nicely. Lookout if he starts really connecting with those receivers. Rankin looks much improved over last year. Especially in hitting the holes and not stopping.

Even though it was Syracuse, it showed great improvement for UW. I didn't expect it to be that much of a blowout. Maybe Syracuse could perfect that quick kick and use it on 2nd down. Whatta dumb call early in the game around mid-field. On the other side, I missed the possible PI against UW. I didn't see the replay. Looked close. Probably wouldn't have made a difference, but 'cuse might've gotten screwed on that one.

A big test will be next week with Boise St.

Only 4 more wins to win a bet against my cuz! Woo Hoo!

I think Miss St. would beat Syracuse by 7. The Cuse really lived up to their uniforms last night.
