Default General: C/Cing flop and leading turn, why and when?

I saw BelowAbove do this on one of his videos. When do you do this? What type of hands/situations? What are you trying to rep?

isn't the point of an instructional video to explain your thought process why you would take an unconventional line like this?

He really didn't explain, it didn't work for him, which made me wonder when and why to use this.

Player dependent. It's a different way to play back at people who cbet mindlessly other than just raising all the time.

I did it once on a QQx board. Got the turn fold.

If you actually c/c with a draw and turn it, how often are people leading? Or if you turn a second pair? Or is everyone just mindlessly going for the turn c/r?
