$100 - 99 against a crazy: Is passive OK here?
This hand feels disgusting, but I'm not sure where I play differently. Villain is a 49/33/9 LAGgro maniac, who has been dropping 7xBB PFraises on the regular.
My main justification for playing like this is that I've got showdown value, but can't stand a check-raise, so playing a small pot feels fine. But I still feel way too passive here. Thoughts? (Other consideration is I want the chance to be deep with this guy) Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $156.45 BB: $57.10 Hero (UTG): $100.00 CO: $80.00 BTN: $165.70 Preflop: Hero is dealt (5 Players) Hero raises to $4.00, 2 folds, SB raises to $13.00, BB folds, Hero calls $9.00 Flop: ($27) (2 Players) SB bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50 Turn: ($38) (2 Players) SB checks, Hero checks River: ($38) (2 Players) SB checks, Hero checks Pot Size: $38.00 ($1.90 Rake) |
