Default For those who take adderall daily...

I started taking adderall last month. I've taken it twice a day since june 20th. Today is the first day I've gone with out since my persciption ran out and I literally feel awful. My stomach is off and my head is hazy. Is this standard? I mean it's not a big deal, I get more tomorrow, but I can imagine what it will feel like quiting after a year or so. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Yeah... fatigue though is normally a sympton after you have been on it for quite some time. Ive been on it every day for the last 4 years. I take around 120mg each day and its still not enough. Your body will adjust and the stomach problem will go away after a while. Whenever i run out i feel miserable. One of the prices you pay im afraid.

op,

Youre experiencing withdraw. Also very few people have +ev long term experience with amphetamines. You may want to consider other options.

Since starting adderall your brain is not used to producing neurotransmitters such as dopamine naturally as it normally does. This is the main source of your withdraw symptoms. If you stop taking adderall for a period of time your brain will return to a normal state.

You really need to stop taking adderall. It's an amphetamine and extremely hard on the heart and the adrenal system as a whole. Your dopamine receptors will get fried (perhaps permanently) with long-term use.

I urge you to find some (any) other way to deal with your ADD. Even stepping down to ritalin would be a good first move.

And 120 mg/day of adderall is totally insane-you will die a young death at that rate of consumption.
