Default Ask a former Taco Bell employee

I know how BBV4LIFE loves their Taco Bell, so as a former Taco Bell employee i thought i would answer questions you had about the establishment. I worked there 13 years ago or so, so i am not really up to date on the latest trends and such. Fire away and I will answer to the best of my recollection. and because all threads are worthless without pics,

Standard question: What did people do in terms of cleanliness and tampering with food? What food was served to people that you wouldn't eat (assuming you like it under normal circumstances)?

about the worst thing i remember seeing was people picking stuff up off the floor, which usually was pretty nasty and putting it in a position to be fed to people. they joked about the 5 second rule alot (standard?), but i never saw anything too nasty. i wouldnt eat anything that came off the ground in that place, or eat any of the meat b/c it smelled like dog food coming out of those bags. also it seemed like we served alot of tomatoes that were border line bad.

sup man. i pretty much never eat there anymore. i prefer taco cabana. all i get anymore when i eat there is bean burritos with no onions extra red sauce. they have to make it fresh that way. thats a good tip. ask for no something and extra something, so they just cant take it out from under a heat lamp. but make it too exotic, and some disgruntled employee might make your order extra special.
