KK in BB facing raise and cold-call, clumsy stack sizes
CO is a 20/4/7 and SB is a 40/9/9 over a small sample.
Put myself in a tough spot here...anyone in favor of either shoving or cold-calling PF or is the RR ok? Re: KK in BB facing raise and cold-call, clumsy stack sizes
Reraise is good, probably a bit small 8-900 is better. I doubt sb has an ace given preflop. If he does have one, then I'm going to be broke. I'd just check the flop since the board is pretty safe.

Reraise is good. As grafyx said make it 800/900.
Check post flop seems ok two. I switching to call down here. |

Re: KK in BB facing raise and cold-call, clumsy stack sizes
What I actually did here is bet 800, planning to fold to a CRAI. I figure he won't CRAI with anything that I beat, and instead of going broke to an A, I leave myself about 1000 chips and am still alive.
To me, that seems superior to agreeing to go broke to an A. Thoughts? |

Now obviously is he has 77 or 22 hes all in but you should be able to fold with an ace out there. Too bad if the flop was J72, I think I would go broke vs. a set. Just my opinion |

Re: KK in BB facing raise and cold-call, clumsy stack sizes
Fold everytime with the Ace there - One Comes up almost every hand and you cant really judge his play that easy - Could be slow playing - maybe has a lower Ace kicker - like 2 or 3 or 4 causing him to worry I know I do with that kind of hand - -He also might think you have a Higher kicker like AK - Push a little till he goes all - if he does then fold -theres lots of other chances to kick his Butt !-

Re: KK in BB facing raise and cold-call, clumsy stack sizes
I think the only ace hand he can have is AQs. AK would re raise preflop, AJ or lower would usually fold to your reraise. Other hands in his hange probably include: 88-TT. I would say that is about it.
