Why would a TAG call the turn with KQ and fold to a blank river?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think a lot of TAGs call two barrels but have problems calling three. Even when the river blanks.

i think i am c/f here ...even a draw for this villain seems sorta unlikely

i don't think he is cold calling QT here preflop even if it is clubs ... so i doubt he is on a draw here

my guess would be that he has KQ .... therefore you need to give up

no offense, but this thinking is just wrong. RANGES CHANGE ON THE RIVER!
he might fold Kx because nobody 3 barrel bluffs this deep, and nobody is value shoving worse ever.
villains hand is obv face up as either a draw or one pair at this point,
and i think shoving gets him to fold a pretty high % of the time - at least 2/3 of the time i would guess. i havent done the math yet though so i dont know exactly how often he must fold here to show a profit, but a shove will fold out most hands in villains range

But thats just the KQ hand he would fold only 2/3 of the time, he could have much stronger hands which he wont ever fold.
