Eh honestly guys theres not much here, mark seif is a [censored] awkward guy-- he has shifty, bulging eyes when he sits at the poker table, and he doesnt seem like a very social guy so these interviews are probably nerve racking for him.

agreed. I dont think he came off bad or douchey in the interview. What the [censored] does everyone expect him to say or do? Oh wait, no one really cares, they just want to pile it on and string him up. Carry on with the group think guys

Have to agree also, what video are the rest of you watching. Nothing in that video made me think he was guilty. He may be but the video doesn't condemn him.

I've met AJ Green. Uh I met him when I was in Costa Rica. Uh, I met him twice. AJ seemed like a uh, like a uh guy, you would expect to find in a sportsbook. He seemed to have a very free sprirt, seemed like a nice guy was very nice to me. Uh, he, uh, I found nothing extraordinary about him. He liked to y'know party, he had a bit of, he had long hair, he had a bit of a free spirit, but um, nothing real egregious. He uh, certainly didn't talk about uh, any hole cards. Play live all the time - up about $80,000 for the last year and half. What's your point. If you say 'uh' too many times your hiding something? Get real.

if all you noticed that was weird about that speech was the fact that he said "uh" a lot, then you prove my point.

Then DISPROVED me with your 80k figure, so n/m.

Here is a good post on the video from neverwinpoker.com:
http://www.neverwinpoker.com/forums/inde...mp;#entry703190

Interesting [and at times pathetic] spin job Mark.

some gems...

"I met AJ twice.. guy you'd expect to find in a sportsbook.. liked to party...long hair ... free spirit". Interesting description for the man charged with security responsibilities at the business.

"he didn't mention anything about hole cards [seif chuckles]". Mark, those who were ripped off don't think its funny. What a completely ridiculous thing to say, and the reaction, wtf is up with laughing about that?

"this could occur on Pokerstars and Full Tilt". The AP spin job starts here... deflect criticism by pulling in everyone else and making accusations. Could it occur - sure, has it - no. Would those companies handle it completely differently than AP did? Absolutely. This is all spin job guys.

"just got done talking to management about what to do in certain situations... we agree to overpay". So Seif is much more than a spokesperson for the company. He is actually involved in the business decision making process. That's new. So he denies he has anything to do with this, yet, he's obviously part of the corporate decision making process. Shady calling him spokesperson. He needs a different title so we know what his role and responsibilities are... such as "VP for player relations", or some such. Seif needs to be held accountable now for all decisions relative to the damage control of this scandal.

"This sends a clear message there is a tremendous amount of oversight....". LOL this is truly laughable. It was through a complete serendipity that a hand history log was sent out that proved all this, and it was completely and totally due to player complaints and investigation that this scandal came to light. What a complete crock of [censored] this whole line of reasoning is. The important point is that AP security is non-existant. There was no oversight at all, and we are all lucky an insider snitched them out. Spin... Spin... Spin.... I'm waiting for Seif to break out the ben-wah balls, roll them in his right hand and start telling us he's actively investigating what happened to the strawberries.

He references Nat Arem, saying "he states I'm not involved in this". I'm sure your mother says the same thing Mark... I think this is also called "vouching", you know, the very thing you are accusing Todd of?

Now comes the solid gold

"he's [Dan Druff] made some remarkable statements... some untrue statements... some highly exaggerated statements" "he's doing something we call in law "vouching" for the argument I was involved". I guess like Nat is vouching you weren't but that's ok. "He [Dan Druff] is engaged in some civil liability" lol. "something I'll think about later". yeah, sure. I'm taking bets on that to cover my losses on AP Mark.

"If it turns out there was some serious wrongdoing w/ AP management, consultants or executives, whatever..." Huh? WORST SPIN JOB OF THE CENTURY! Mark - what "if"?? AP HAS ADMITTED CHEATING CUSTOMERS. ADMITS THEY WERE COMPROMISED. ADMITS THEY [censored] UP THE INITIAL INVESTIGATION. ADMITS INSIDERS WERE INVOLVED. WHAT THE [censored] IS WRONG WITH YOU SOFT PEDDLING IT WITH "IF".

Conclusion: Seif is nothing more than a paid shill for AP. He is on two-pronged spin mission. First, to cover himself, second, to cover AP. Hope what they are paying you is worth your soul.

The guy is the "face" and spokesperson for AP. People sign up partly because of the likablility of his "personality", that is why he is in that role. So I just find it amusing that he would weassel his way around the issue just like AP did and may currently be doing. It both WHAT he says and HOW he says it that should be scrutinized. If he does not like the role he should quit and distance himself from AP. Instead he is almost sticking up for AJ Green while ADMITTING he was in Costa Rica with him. The issue is bigger than just his "guilt" in one instance of accused cheating 1 1/2 years ago but HOW he continues to add to the confusion. Did he not READ the AP press releases where they admitted the cheating. To act like it is still an issue as to whether AP cheated its customers is disinformation on his part and part of the overall problem. People must be able to TRUST the poker site they use. Yes people can collude and hack and cheat on any site but that is why when you sign up to be a SPOKESPERSON for the site you have a vested interest in your reputation to be sure that things like that do not happen. Can you really picture Daniel Negreanu saying the same things Mark said. I think not. So yes, the FACE of the site does deserve some heat when things go wrong.
