Default Bet fold river?, $200NL

This spot is so annoying. What do you do here against an unknown? What if you just played the following hand with villain? Villain from hand two is villain with 56 in hand one. Notice he never raised or bet with two pair in this hand.

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $230.95
Button: $192.30
SB: $190.15
Hero: $197

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG calls, Button folds, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($6, 3 players)
SB bets $6, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($24, 3 players)
SB bets $14, Hero calls, UTG calls.

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($66, 3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks.

Results:
Final pot: $66
UTG showed 6h 5h
SB showed Js 8s
Hero showed As 9s

Here is the hand in question.

No way I'm folding the river with top two there. He has an overpair like never (even as passive as he's shown himself to be) he's got sets rarely because there's one combo of everything but 77, and I really doubt he has a 4 here ever. I guess 89 makes a bit of sense, but in the first hand the board was at least a little scary so I don't think he was slowplaying it like he would be here on the turn with the nuts. I can't not call.

FWIW i agree he never has a four here. It is either 77 or 89 if I'm beat.

I know what you're thinking, but people, especially bad players, will really surprise you sometimes. It's just too narrow of a range to put him on to fold getting 7:31 or 1:4.5ish. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he proudly tables QJ here.

The guy open limped 56s UTG in hand 1, why exactly are you saying he never has a 4 here?

Either way I would call
