($16) AJ Blind vs Blind Bubble
I seem to piss away chips like this too much...
Villian was about 30/15 I'm tempted to just push this preflop - overkill? PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t200 with t25 antes (4 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com CO (t5500) Button (t1220) Hero (t3230) BB (t3550) Preflop: Hero is in SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] CO folds, Button folds, Hero raises to t500, BB calls t300 Flop: (t1200) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets t800, BB raises to t3025 (All-in), Hero folds |

Re: ($16) AJ Blind vs Blind Bubble
Seems OK to me, I play it the same. I think this flop bet wins the pot most times.
EDIT: I think the converter calculated the pot size wrongly. Should be t1100 in the pot on the flop rather than t1200, so betting t650-700 would be fine here. |

Re: ($16) AJ Blind vs Blind Bubble
I am pretty sure a t600 bet accomplishes the same.

Re: ($16) AJ Blind vs Blind Bubble
When you consider the antes, you have like 12 BB's. Looking at SNGPT, here is +$EV for pushing:
call range = 44, A7s, A9o, KJs = +$0.89 call range = TT, AQs, AKo = +$1.59 I would insta push this preflop. Raising can cause a couple of problems, like your CB not working or getting reraised preflop by a hand that would have folded to your push (77, AT). |
