The third season of GSN’s highly popular High Stakes Poker was filmed on October 11-12 at the South Pointe Casino in Las Vegas. The first episode is scheduled to air on GSN on January 15, 2007 at 9:00 p.m. Players participating include the following:

I wish they would film for a week, and then just run a year long season. This show never gets boring. I don't see any reason to cut it down into separate seasons. Why couldn't it just run year-round? Budgetary problems?

Some interesting names on the new player list. Phil Ivey obviously being the biggest addition. Is Gabe going to play and be the TV analyst as well cause it wouldn't be the same without him? Surprised to see Wasicka, but maybe he plays in games similar to this online? It'll be interesting to see how Chris Ferguson plays as he has said he doesn't play in too many cash games.

Also, I thought it was announced earlier that Howard Lederer and Joseph Hachem were playing so why aren't they on this list?

I didn't know he was a pro.

The likes of Ivey, Antonius, Dags and Benyamine were must additions. Cool that they came through.
Seeing Jamie Gold there is great too and it will be very interesting to see if there are various clashes of personality with him in the mix.
Chris Ferguson doesn't play for cash at all, and certainly not high stakes, does he? Major nit alert there.
Shame Gus isn't there and some other euros are missed as well but all in all it looks very good.

This seems like an extensive list. Are they going to have 2 tables maybe? Seemed to me like last season most of the people got like 2 hands shown.
