[/ QUOTE ] The idea is to use our words to glorify God or to build up others...but when it comes to cuss words, IMO, they are merely sounds and letters put together in such a way that society has deemed "bad." Nothing makes one word worse than another technically. Plus, the mores of society are evolving. For instance, anyone can say "sucks" now, or "crap", and I think that in a few years, no one will blink an eye at "ass". No one does now, really, but from the pulpit sometimes I'll say "butt" and I've heard a lot of guys say "crap" during sermons. In ten years, will we be saying "ass"? See, it's not the word, it's the motive behind it. So, either way I'm screwed on this one I guess.

[/ QUOTE ] I just find it odd that a pastor has a problem with writing/typing a word b/c he's religious but doesn't have a problem with thinking it.
