Default Badly played 2 pair?

Proper line, read dependent or just spew? If you care about the read, button was TAG to maybe LAG, but just won two big pots with relative junk (Middle pair, and middle pocket pair). I have 150+ hands on him...

SB ($6.65)
Hero ($23.20)
UTG ($41.30)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Button calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero checks.

I'm curious as to why.. Maybe this is a fundamental problem I have in situations like this.

6 max, I have middle two pair. Villian is playing only premium hands. I can see him calling with only A/8, 88, 56 suited. And I cant really see him calling with 5/6 suited. Its entirely possible him calling with 44/33/22, but for 44 and 22, why not raise the flop?

I pushed to get him out. In effect, I wanted him to go away, take his draw and leave. I'm 60/40 on the flop, 80/20 on the turn, but I am somewhat vulnerable as I am playing bottom 2 pair (I know, its middle 2 pair, but barely.)

Everything in me screams "Charge him to draw" when playing a TAG in this situation...

ok he folds all draws, and every time he calls you have 4 outs at most.

bet pot. theres no reason to push everytime you think your opponent is drawing.

Also, your read is off. No one decent open limps the button.
