Re: Should the Pats be running up the score on everybody in garbage ti
If I knew that me betting the Patriots each week against the spread along as betting the over would cause this much problem I wouldn't have done it.

[ QUOTE ] But mainly, running up the score is having all your starters in with massive leads late in games and still trying to move your offense to the best of its ability instead of just running it and trying to get the game over with. [/ QUOTE ] did you watch the game last night? this is what they spent the whole 4th quarter doing - running with their white Service Academy fullbacks Matt Cassell came in with 11 minutes left! [/ QUOTE ] Thats one game dude. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yep, anyone arguing about the Pats last night probably didn't watch the game. They put Cassell in for almost all the 4th quarter and ran the ball with that FB almost every down. If you can't stop the other teams JV squad that's running 90% of all plays, I don't think anyone will have much sympathy for you. The games before were pretty obvious examples of "dickery" but this game certainly wasn't. Cody |

Bill's first job was an assistant for the team Jauron played for.

Regardless, I think the Bills were very classy in how they handled the beatdown afterwards. They all pretty much said how dominant of a team the Pats were and they weren't able to stop them. I wish the Bills weren't in the AFC East, because I'd like to root for them.

[ QUOTE ]
Going for it on 4th tonight is really funny. Scattered throughout the league's rosters are the coaches of the future. At some point, be it 5, 10, 15 years down the line or more, the pats are going to find themselves with an awful team and some vengeful people will be determined to pay this back. [/ QUOTE ] As a point of information, how is running the fullback up the middle on 4th and more than a yard running up the score, but kicking a meaningless FG isn't? Seems like the Pats were giving the Bills every chance there to prevent them from scoring more, but, who knew? The Bills' D-Line sucks. |
