Re: Difficult desision for KK
at 0.25/50 this is a hard spot but i think i fold here. these sorts of huge overbets are rarely bluffs. you can find better spots than this

Re: Difficult desision for KK
You MIGHT be ahead, but calling these huge overbets with only an overpair will cost you a lot of money in the end. I fold.

Re: Difficult desision for KK
What hand u think he has got! bare in mind i reraised an UTG player and i know he is good enough to put me on AK AA or KK i also know he had a premium starting hand with his UTG raise.

Re: Difficult desision for KK
Without knowing that guy will overplay ovepairs, or top pair you would have to fold. There is nothign that you beat that a sane person would do this with, but most of the time I see someone do this they are bluffing or have a draw. In my experience from NL100 I would flip a coin and call.

Re: Difficult desision for KK
I call here most of the time. Good players usually won't sacrifice the value with monsters, bad players will slowplay it more (generally). I think you're ahead here pretty often.
Hands include: straight draws, Tx, 8x, QQ-, AK/AQ, complete bluffs. |

Flop: ($33.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $21, BB raises to $93.75, MP folds, Hero calls $72.75. FWIW, here is a situation that is similar to the OP's, but is different in enough ways to warrant a call IMO. 1) Villain cold-called a 3bet and is a 50/20 fish 2) Board is more coordinated and could potentially give his range more draws than OP's board 3) Stacks aren't 140bb deep, so the shove is about 1.5x pot |
