New to this site so definately don't use my opinion, but after reading a few sites and what not and seeing lines, I took lakers +5.5 Jazz outright, and the jazz/GS under at 214.5 That seems way high to me.

I am happy with my first every contribution to the site =) congrats if ya went with me

lakers cutting it pretty close there at the end

Wednesday a bunch of games going on, i like

- dallas -4 v cleveland

cleveland just really isnt that good, dallas is going to come out angry and will continue their reg season dominance. both teams are bringing back basically the same team. last season 1st meeting dallas by 3 even with bronbron putting up 39 sick numbers, 2nd meeting the D by 8. Only concern is that Dallas starts season bad again, but I dont think Avery will let them do that twice.

- chi +2.5 v NJN

chicago is just the better team, and imo it isnt even close

As much as I want to agree with this because I am a fan. No Noah tonight, and a good chance Ben Wallace plays very limited minutes.

Washington/Indiana O201

Washington will run. Indiana (under O'Brien) will be running and shooting 3's.

I don't really think noah or wallace are that big of a deal, I think ty thomas having to play more minutes is a good thing, and wallace is mostly hype imo

As long as you got hinrich, gordon, deng, and ty on the court - i like your chances

Lots of love for the Bulls getting 2.5, but what about the ML at +125. Seems like the possible better bet here.

Missing Wallace is going to be a factor, but not a big one...maybe costs the Bulls 2 or 3 points in the game. Missing Noah is not a factor, imo. Many Bulls fans were upset with this draft pick, precisely because they don't think he'll be an impact player in the NBA. He wouldn't have made an impact in his first game.

I think the Bulls are 3-4 points better on a neutral court with Wallace. Any thoughts on the Nets home court advantage? Big one, small one...I don't really have a good feel for the intangibles of the NBA. Thanks all.

What does anyone think of the under for denver / seattle at 217.5?

I just cant see Seattle with a starting 5 of Earl Watson(PG), Kevin Durant(SG), Robert Swift(C), Damien Wilkins(SF) Chris Wilcox or Nick Collison (either one at PW) scoring a 100

Durant has a slight sprained ankle as does Jeff Green.

Robert Swift hasnt practiced lately because of a swore knee and is doubtful.

http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.co...ex.html#019867

I just dont see them scoring atleast 100 and i know Denver can really score but atleast 117 seems high for opening night?

But then again neither team plays much Defense except Camby

Please share your insight!!

I like the under. With Durant coming off the injury, I don't think he's going to be too effective. I seem them struggling to post more than 90.
