Wanted: LIMIT Hold\'em Guinea Pigs
WHAT
I'm studying a particular Limit Hold'em player weakness. I need some PokerTracker data from players who may exhibit this leak. I'll accept data from the first 5 players who meet the following criteria: 1. Beginning to intermediate level Limit Hold'em players in micro- to small-stakes online games. 2. Have some familiarity with PokerTracker. 3. Can provide data for a sequence of 5000 hands. 4. Have a compression utility and know how to use it (e.g. winzip or pkzip). WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU A chance to improve your game. CONDITIONS 1. We correspond via email and pm. 2. I won't publicly disclose your poster or player ids. 3. I may publish my analysis in a post or article (without violating condition #2). 4. I'll provide you with a short report of my findings. Once I get data, your part is essentially done, but my analysis make take from several days to a couple of weeks, so some patience may be required on your part. 5. If you have questions about the information I provide you, I'll make a reasonable effort to answer. However, you must understand that I am not a poker expert or coach. I believe this exercise will be useful for the participants, but I make no warranty regarding this. OTHER Once I get 5 candidates, I won't accept any more, so please don't ask. However, others may get some benefit from this exercise if I publish the results in a post or article. Obviously, if you want to preserve your annonymity, you should NOT respond by posting in this thread-- let me know you are interested by PM. If that's not an issue, I will answer questions in this thread. This is the first time I've tried something like this so please be tolerant if I've forgotten some detail or I'm slow to respond. |

Re: Wanted: LIMIT Hold\'em Guinea Pigs
Bump.
Just one volunteer so far. I need 4 more. If I don't hear from anyone else in the next couple of days, I'll crosspost to the microlimit forum, but I want to give beginners first chance. |
