Let me guess. Its a home game with a rake. This is why you don't go to home games that provide dealers and rake the pot. This would never happen in a casino.

Once a pot has been collected it is no go even if an irregularity can be shown. Whoever collected the chips, keeps them. This rule appeared in print as far back as 1950 and probably earlier.
