Win rate, Live vs On-Line...
Hi Folks! long time reader, first time poster. Recently I had a discussion about win rate with my friends, in regards Live vs On-Line...when describing win rate in live action, one typically states as BB/hr...and on-line as BB/100 hands. Say a seasoned pro is beating the live games at 1BB/hr at the card club, where on average he's dealt about 35 hands per hour, let's say he switches to on-line play, and say hypothetically the game conditions on-line is EXACTLY the same as live action...does this mean this seasoned pro would be automatically making roughly 3BB/100 hands??!!...
or does generally 1BB/hr live play translate to 1BB/100hands on line?? If this is true..this would actually mean it takes more hands on-line to make 1 BB.....what factors attribute to the difference..i.e, pot is smaller on line? competition is tougher on line..?? Thank you for all your insights in advance. God bless, |
