Indiana tourneys
Looking to play a tourney this week or next, but it's been a while...
Anyone recommend any tourneys through the week? Day/time is mostly negotiable at this point, so just looking for the best value/action. I'm coming from Indy so southern Indiana (Caesar's, Argosy) would probably be preferred, but I could do the Chicago area ones as well. Also, I see on Caesar's website that there's a Thursday Midnight Madness tourney ($65+15). Since it doesn't really specify, I assume it's Thurs night/Fri morning (rather than Wed/Thurs)? What time does this usually finish? How many players? As of now, it's looking like the best bet for me. Worth the trip, or does it even always go? |

Re: Indiana tourneys
Argosy runs a tourney on Monday at noon ($115). Not sure about the rest of the week.
Belterra runs quite a few tourneys, looks like pretty much at least one every day of the week. Belterra Poker Site |

Re: Indiana tourneys
Caesars has a $200+$20 on Saturday's at noon. Usually gets 120-180 players. During the week though, I guess the Midnight Madness tourneys are your best bet. Not sure how many people they get or how long they last. They also started offering SNGs (25+10 and 35+10)

Re: Indiana tourneys
Argosy also has tournaments on Tues-Thurs at noon. It's around 60 + 10 or something like that.

Re: Indiana tourneys
If you can hold off a couple weeks, the Denny Crum Poker Open at Caesars Indiana starts Sept. 17-20 with daily $230s at noon, and the $1986 main event starts Sept. 21, if I recall correctly.
