Default Which Canadian Casino??

What Casino in Canada would be my best bet for a poker room?
Also a sports book would be nice?
Any other options besides Windsor?

I'm pretty sure the only legal sports betting in Ontario is through 'pro line', which is controlled by the government and runs similar to the lottery.

Where in Canada? In the west, all larger cities have a reasonable amount of casinos with decent poker rooms - Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary.

What games are you looking to play. Sportsbooks aren't available in Canada because the government has a monopoly via Sports Select

Well was more or less looking for a horse track.
I was planning on going to windsor, any idea if you can bet on horses in the casino itself? Or do you just have to go to the track.

Hows Windsors Pokerroom??
Whats the traffic like?
Thanks for your help everyone.

I haven't been to Windsor in a long time but the game use to be fairly good. But Windsor is a pretty [censored] city so I wouldn't go just for the poker.

If you are thinking Windsor then you other options in Ontario are Rama in Orelia which is about 6 hours drive. The native casino in Port Perry which was pretty much dead last time I was there.

Now if you are in Windsor you might consider going to London. They don't have a casino but for two weeks from Labour day till mid Sept they have a fair and they use to have the craziest poker. Not many tables but insane games and only 2 hours from Windsor.

I have never been to Fallsview but they have a pokeroom as well. Also not sure but I think the casino in Brantford now has a poker room as well.

There is Port Perry (its a limit Holdem casino) and somedays they have a $100 SitnGo running

Casino Rama is up in Orillia, they spread most 1-2 NL, 2-5 limit, and sometimes 2-5 NL. Most of their limit games dried up.

There is Fallsview in Niagara which is the best IMO. They have more variety and you can call ahead and they will put you on the list.

There is Niagara which has low limit hold'em.

Brantford has mostly limit (its near hamilton)

Windsor has lower limits that have a stupid cap. 200 max buy in for 2-5 NL and 100 max buy-in for 1-2 NL. They do sometimes have a 10-20 NL that is uncapped. They also run $110 Sitngos. Also in Windsor you can call ahead and put ur name on the list.

And that about does it.

Rama has really dried up. We use to have 10-20+ at least 3-4 tables a night and a 50-100+ on Tuesday nights.

I was trying to decide between Syracuse and Rama for Oct but looks like Syracuse it is.
