It seems to me as though the kid was clearly in the wrong here
for the following reasons:

1. His questions seemed oddly irrelevant: Why does he care about the voting fiasco of 2004, Kerry had no control over that crazy situation.

2. He spoke in an offensive manner to Mr. Kerry. It seemed to me that his aim was to insult rather than constructive critism

3. Physically he was going wild at the mere appearance of the officers slightly touching him. he could have stepped aside and spoken with them.

4. Overall i think his acts were shameful
