Disappearing buttons on Full Tilt.

I don't know why this is happening but since yesterday, sometimes the fold,call,raise buttons disappear on me while i play along with not refreshing some portions of the tables. In the lobby, the cashier button disappears. All the buttons work but I CAN'T SEE IT sometimes b/c it disappears. ANYBODY KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT? Is there a fix to this? I never had a problem like this in the last 6 months I've played.

Damn right I know what you are talking about, but I've never actually SEEN it with my own eyes on a standard set up [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Is maybe something using a HUGE percentage of your CPU power when this happens?



What I know is from development of the (now no longer needed) FTP Resizer script... It is very unusual behaviour for a windows application, but running FTP resizer on a dual core CPU or at a low CPU priority revealed this interesting fact...

Maybe 1/6 of the time the buttons are not actually there!
They seem to be deleted from the client then after a tiny lag, redrawn.


FWIW, this is the cause of occasional fatal FTP client crashes when using BetPot (and unledd nanochip has figured out a magic fix recently, FTS) - accessing non-present controls via script = crash [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]


Sorry, no real idea how to fix.. just the limited information I think I have learnt over the last year or so [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I've been experiencing this same button disappearing problem for the past few days on both of my PCs. I don't think it is an issue with insufficient memory or CPU power since one of my PCs is a brand new high end machine.

I had the "My Promotions" button disappear just now. I've got a duo core processor and it shouldn't be lag issues. Something odd is going on...

Bump because I'm still having this problem.

I've noticed that when I'm multitabling that the buttons only repeatedly disappear on one or two of the tables and the rest of the tables will be unaffected.

I have this too.

The areas usually affected:

1. Cashier button in lobby.
2. Register/Unregister button in tournaments.
3. The table buttons, including the Bet/Fold/Raise, text box to type in bet size, chat box, and the buttons at the top left.

This happens to me regardless of if i have other software running like poker ace.

It's definitely annoying.

Those that are having it, what kind of computer/video card do you have?

My basic setup is:
- Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz processor
- 2 GB RAM
- GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB video card

i had this issue and for me it was the flicker free filter in paHud. If I turned this off, all buttons came back

My cashier button disappears even when PAHUD is not running. When I click it it's back.
