On a serious note, that was a pretty effing rude comment the dude made. But you did kind of asked for it by making fun of your asian-ness. I think in general, discussions about ethnic stereotypes with strangers is a bad idea. You are almost certain to piss somebody off or get pissed off.

One of my employees was born in Korea about 30 years ago and adopted as a baby by a nice religious couple from Minnesota. She loves heavy comfort food and has been known to order something like beef stroganoff for lunch. She also occasionally uses the word chinky. She's still asian IMO.

Definitely made me laugh and brought up memories. I remember so many of those guys from when I used to play in the Commerce in L.A., and the young mafiosi who would come in and swirl around in white capes, woken up fresh to start the day at 2 in the morning.
