open limping your sb can work against non-observant players, but i pick up so much dead money from people that open limp their sb to my bb .....its basically free $

[/ QUOTE ]

Right. I am saying if the BB routinly checks, I'd rather limp getting 3-1 and outplay them on the flop.

If you're not a solid post-flop player or are on 9 tables, you'd probably just want to fold in that spot...

[/ QUOTE ]

i play 5 tables, and i raise in that spot all the time. my default is to raise my SB against BB until they decide to do something about it. again, free $

[/ QUOTE ]

You can have you PAHUD display how much they fold to steals of their BB. I tried it for awhile but I didn't find it to be all that useful.

[/ QUOTE ]

i dont use huds, site doesnt support it, and the only thing i use huds for anyways is to identify nits

can I take a guess: your not playing on FTP or Stars?

PS- comment bout 3 tabling players not winning is just retarded. I can notice a significant improvement in my play(and ptbb/100 win rate) when I am 3 tabling as compared to 6+, and lower variance as well. Its very possible for a non-great player to make 6 figs 3 tabling MSNL. last I checked that was pretty good money.

I didn't say you cannot win; you winrate will obviously be higher. But you can generally win more by playing more than 3 tables as evidenced by pretty much every player in this forum. I was also talking to the OP and not people who play 3 tables in general.

Also, the variance is not going to change. 1,000 hands of 3 tabling verus 1,000 hand of 6 tabling will have the same variance. Although as previously stated your winrate will usually be higher when 3 tabling.

Also, are you saying that 6-8 BBs is "crushing" the game for players who are 6-9 tabling?

I play 3 tables at once, so that I don't miss any bets or lose any value...

Obviously the fewer tables you play simultaneously , the higher your win rate per hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you cannot play more than 3 tables there is a good chance that you are a losing player.

[/ QUOTE ]

omg this is completely wrong

[/ QUOTE ]

No it isn't. Name one winning player on this forum who never plays more than 3?

[/ QUOTE ]

i play 4 at most... i my multitabling ratio is 2.23

my winrate at msnl is above 6ptbb/100 over 110k hands.... so yeah

I guess I'm wrong then. I cannot play anything less than 8 and not be bored unless it is games that high stakes (for me).

i am positive there are many many great players in msnl that play 2-8 tables and do fine and would not want to play 8+

There's a big difference between 2-8 and playing no more than 3.

I think this may be wrong.

If win rate is higher then variance is less especially over same number of hands.

I think I could be wrong too
