Default Missed value bet on river ?

SB had been playing sound poker, however after 2 bad beats to the same guy, he went into call down fish mode.

I think you missed one, I don't think he has an ace - probably K of clubs, maybe K-8. Maybe he would fold to your river bet. With your preflop raise others would assume you have an ace with a good kicker. Maybe you can push out someone holding A-T or A-7 (?) - that or you're giving them more money... still would bet my tens fearlessly.

I play on full tilt around this limit. I've been shown an Ace here often enough to be cognizant of it. Sometimes I ask myself why I was never alerted than an A was out there with a raise at some point, but they could easily put you on a big A with the pj raise - though if they do why are they calling?

I would say I often check this, but i'm not sure if I'm missing value there. It seems like a situation where against anyone but a calling station we only get called if behind. Any read on your opponent?

Well, if the SB is playing call-down-fish-poker, then easy, easy value bet.

Expect to get looked up here with all sorts of things.
