Weird TPTK spot in unraised pot... cant really see calling, right?
Villain only sat down recently, so no reads.
FT 6-max, 1/2NL CO has 48, Villain has ~100 and is in SB, hero covers Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in BB, CO limps, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop ($6): J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, hero pots ($6), CO folds, SB Raises to $20, hero folds. Standard? Weird spot for him to show up with a draw, right? Does he ever do this with a lesser J? |

The only thing you're realistically not beating is 22 33 and JJ. This is almost always a draw, so 3bet.

[/ QUOTE ] What is your basis for your assessment that this is almost always a draw, considering that: -Villain was in SB, and so it doesnt seem realistic to rule hands like 32s, J2s, and J3s out of his range, since plenty of people play these hands UTG, and given villain's stack size, I see no reason to believe him a very tight player. -If he IS a good player, this isn't a good play with a draw, since it's unlikely to fold both opponents. -Don't most Jacks lead? |
