Default $60 call here with 99 on bubble?

Villain is a good regular. Should i call this hand?

Button (t1385)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 9.

Fold. There is a shortstack who only has 3bbs left. You have 9.
No need to gamble with 99 here.

This is a fold but 99 will dominate a reasonable amount of villians range. Villian is probably pushing most pairs and A6, etc.

First post weee.
I fold this with lightning speed. If hes pushing literally atc maybe it gets close. I still don't think so though, and clearly he shouldn't be.

I'm wondering if you held QQ what people would do here. Fold too nitty? I mean a 'good' player has to have a pretty solid hand here right.
