It's probably obvious to Vehn that if you give equal weight to straights and sets, then you have to call. I think his question implies that he is not giving these hands equal weight due to the passive nature of the opponent and the action this hand. He's strongly weighting QT in the hand range. So his question is: how clearly do I have to know it's a straight and not a set (due to tells, player tendencies, etc) before I can make a laydown based on my read?

At least, that's how I took the question.
