Re: 6 max session turns into H/U: What a RUSH!
Yeah I had another one today but it was a HU bleeder and so I gave it up after we were both down to rake.
There really is nothing of interest in the H/U session worth posting, he was just generally so predictable that he only bet if he had a hand and called down with a piece. He check raised once, raised only 18% preflop so its pretty easy to figure out when I should fold. |

That's because, at your normal playing limits, the only real winner of HU is the rake, unless the guy is truly an exceptional bleeder. [/ QUOTE ] Probably true, but it seems to work out well for me whenever it happens. Maybe I just run good after everyone leaves. |

I'd love to play dougshrapnel just to see how his style of play is like. CALLING DOUG!! OPEN CHALLENGE... $5 HU TOURNEY ON PS. I'd be willing to do $10 too, if you want. [/ QUOTE ] I'd gladly play you for pride. I'm Busto. PM me and we can set it up. |

I've tried heads up at short handed tables, but I find the variance way too high in those situations for my liking.

I didn't have to do anything but value bet, think I bluffed once. [/ QUOTE ] So the deck hit you in the face? Brilliant poker playing. All that study and practice paid off. Be sure and sign up for the WSOP next year. I hear that works there as well. |

Re: 6 max session turns into H/U: What a RUSH!
sure rain on my parade guthrie. It really didn't matter what I had since he folded most of the hands... went to showdown about 5 times the whole time won 3 of them ... that wasn't the point the value was in the betting.
What I mean by bluff is raising him with nothing and less than one out. |
