Hand #2-I hate to say it but I folded the river.

Frond, why do you hate to say that? Folding the river properly is one of the most difficult things for people to learn to do.

Hand #1- I did raise the river, he now 3 bets me fairly fast

[/ QUOTE ]

Folding can't be right. He has 66,55,33, too often.

Side note: I was playing 8/16 @ Hawaiian Gardens Saturday and one of the big screen TV's was playing Babar cartoons instead of football. I suggested to the floorman that I would rather watch the UCLA game instead of a Babar cartoon. I was berated by two players for even KNOWING WHO BABAR was! lol.

Hand #2-I hate to say it but I folded the river. I can count on one hand the times I have used the B/F line

[/ QUOTE ]

dude.

this is a leak, the b/f is a huge weapon for you that like 99% of players dont possess.

i recommend you post some hands for critique where you had the option of b/f.

Hand #2-Well I guess I now have acquired the B/F weapon without realizing it .

I guess sometimes it just doesn't feel right when you look at the pot size. We all hate folding in a big pot to a bet on the river. Kind of goes back to what Bernie mentioned in his well about people being blinded by the pot size when we have an obvious player do something obvious like he did here. Well, I feel a lot better with my play now.

Hand #1 I still play the same.

I think I have to four bet hand one if he trizzes me. As a matter of fact, I just made a side bet with myself that he has 66 (or maybe 33, but I really think its 66). Do you think you're beating most of his range? Absolutely! This is not usually, but a vast majority of the time in my experience 66, 33, 55 and maybe QT. Maybe like, what, 10-15% of the time he has a straight. I think you should have lost more money here.

OneOuter, I'll take that bet with you , A few posts earlier I said that he had 47o for the turned str8. When villain turns on and bets into me all of a sudden on the river and then fairly quickly 3 bets me I think a call is better here.

Before reading the results I suspected a 74o straight in hand 1. This is low limit hold'em, after all. In hand two I wouldn't be surprised to see villain show up with 96s for another improbable straight. Everyone wants to be Daniel Negreanu. Why, I have no idea. But they do.
