Default $30 FT 99 hand how is this line?

Both players have been playing really solid, haven't gotten out of line. I've been fairly active but have only shown down the nuts. Sorry about the raw HH.

I would check the river, no need to bluff here and don't think ace high hero calls very much

Your preflop call from the BB is ok since you are getting 4 to 1.

Your post flop bet is ok as well. When he check/called what did you put him on?

Since he called a raise preflop, I would have thought he had something like QQ-77, AK, AQs.

However, his check to you doesn't make sense. If he had an over pair,he should bet, if he had AK or AQ, he might check (although I would have made some kind of probe bet myself).

A brick comes and he checks again. There is t1910 in the pot. I have an overpair to the board, but I really have no idea what he has. I feel he has AK or AQ but he could be slowplaying 66, AA, KK maybe even QQ, or perhaps he made a poor opening call with A4 or A6.

That being said, I still would have bet about t1000 and see what he does.

When he called on the flop I put him on 77, 88, TT-QQ (although this seemed pretty weird as I would expect a check raise after I just smoothed preflop behind a raiser and a caller), 66, and honestly maybe A6 or A4, 45 suited maybe (remember, this is a $30 tourny against an unknown from the blinds... "I have to defend my blind blaaa!!"). It was pretty early in the tournament and I didn't love my hand so I decided to check behind on the turn to keep the pot small. I would consider calling a bet on the river, but his bot sized bet was too large to justify a call in my opinion.

Rupert, I was 2nd to act on the river. He bet into me... no opportunity to check. Is this any easy fold on the river? What do we put him on?

I like how you played it. 3500 left, there is 1900 in the pot, so any bet that you make now pretty much commits you on the river unless you are fimly prepared to let it go if a 6 comes up. I would say "bet 900," but if he calls and then fires an AI on the river, you're in a rather uncomfortable spot.
